Learn English in Boston, the charming and vibrant capital of Massachusetts. Boston is one of America's oldest cities, but it is also on the cutting edge of the 21st century. Boston boasts an astonishing array of cultural and entertainment options, including multiple theatres, concert halls, and sports arenas and TD Garden (home of the world-famous Boston Celtics NBA and Boston Bruins NHL teams). You can visit the Faneuil Hall and Haymarket (birthplace of the American Revolution), Beacon Hill (Boston's state capital), the North End (an Italian-American neighborhood famous for its restaurants and cafes), the Back Bay (with fine-dining and cosmopolitan shopping), and the Boston Harbor with its panoramic views and beautiful islands.
The curriculum organizes the English learning into 12 levels of proficiency. Each level can be completed in a four-week session in an Intensive English Program. Students will take a test on the first day of the program and will be placed into the class level that best suits them based on the results of the test. Students practice conversation and speaking skills using practical, real-world English. They learn to write with accuracy and effectiveness, develop strategic listening skills and improve their use of grammar. Skill Enhancement Classes encompass two hours per day and target the academic skills students need to succeed in higher education.
Students receive free university counseling while studying in this program, and receive an academic transcript. Advanced level students can earn a certificate of completion that fulfills the English language requirement at any of the 650+ partner universities and college in North America.
Students will have 30 hours of English classes per week, from Monday through Friday. In spare time, students can choose to join tours to local attractions, trips to New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, or the world famous Niagara Falls. They will have a chance to visit the world renowned universities such as Harvard University, MIT and Boston University.
