Pathway Higher Education Service was established with a mission of helping schools, parents and communities foster well-rounded and world class citizens. We believe that education is not just about knowledge, classroom teaching and technical skills, but also about inspiration, responsibility, discipline, ambition, persistence, citizenship, collaboration, and the ability to overcome failure. In many schools and institutions, classroom teaching needs to focus on the collection of knowledge, and there is not much room in extra curriculum activities that will allow them to train students in other important aspects.

We believe that quality education happens both inside and outside of the classroom, and that education should start early and should last life long. We strive to complement the traditional form of knowledge based classroom teaching with a focus on

Pathway Highe Education Service has a taskforce of experieced teachers and program directors who have been in the education field for decades, who have in-depth knowledge of education systems of various countries and who have been leading forces in cultural exchange. We work with universities, schools or learning centers to help training overseas students in the above area, by introducing exchange programs, organizing short-term training programs, or helping students find schools taylored to their talents.

We help international students through short term training camps as well as school admissions, from junior high to college level. With students and their future as our best interest, we work with parents, counselors, universities and various institutions to help making wise decisions and place the students where they best belong.

OUR SERVICES

We offer short term training programs for international students and scholars during winter breaks or summer breaks in the following areas:

• Language and Culture Exposure - These programs normally are two weeks, three weeks or four weeks long, with half day English classes, or full day English classes. Afternoons or evenings are filled with culture related activities such as lectures, museums, festivals, local attractions, concerts, university visits, sports, movies, etc. An optional travel package can be added at the end of the training program for participants to tour other scenic spots in USA.
• Focus on the Family - Activity and travel programs that allow parents and children to experience the US life and culture together. Programs can be tailored to suit the needs of a particular group, for instance, university visits can be added for a group of high school graduates and their parents.
• Leadership Training - Discover the world's fun and challenge through a focus on leadership, relationship building, integrity, self-esteem and self-discipline. A wide ranges of outdoor sports and activities are combined with optional academic course work or travel plans so that students can learn and excel. Certain camps feature lecture and seminar style training to build, enhance and expand global leadership skills.
• Music and Art - Various camps designed to nurture students' talent in music and art fields including voice, musical instruments, woodcraft, painting, digital media, video or sound production. Students can experience excellent teachers, meet other talented students and learn from the best. Optional travel packages can be added after the camps.
• Academic Work - Rigorous academic works in areas such as English, math, biology, physics combined with outdoor activities to fully prepare for college study. SAT or other test prep options are offered. Additional travel packages can be added after the camps.
• Quality Human Being - Overall multi-aspect training on how to be a high quality human being with regards to responsibility, punctuality, relationship development, stress release, hobbies, moral standards and so on. Training is conducted in the form of lectures, recreational activities, discussions, and team works.
• Spiritual Growth - Camps to train young people to have a spiritual and moral integrity, and to live a useful, honorable, and meaningful life. Bible studies and church services are part of the camp life. Academic course works or ESL classes will be integrated with recreational activities or weekend tours.
• Customized Training Programs - We will design a program that fits into your purpose, schedule and budget. The resources we have built over the years enable us to find experts in various areas in industry, universities and government offices. We can build lecture and seminar series, invite distinguished guest speakers, and organize company and government visits. It is ideal for companies or institutes to send their employees or students to get training on a specific topic.
